Dr. Jiyong Chen, Wuhan University, P. R. China
Dr. Chen was the Dean of the Economics and Management School of Wuhan University from 2005 to 2013. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Economics from Wuhan University. His main research areas are in international economics and investment. Dr. Chen started his teaching at Wuhan University from 198. He was a visiting scholar to Pittsburg University in the USA from 1984 to 1985 and a Fulbright Scholar to Hopkins University in the USA from 1994 to 1995. In his earlier career, Dr. Chen was appointed as the Vice President of Hubei University from 1996 to 2001, and the President of the Hubei Academy of Social Sciences from 2001 to 2004. Dr. Chen published more than 160 articles and 20 books. He received more than 2 million (RMB) of research grants for a number of projects in business and economics, especially, the issues with reference to the global, China and the USA. He won a series of provincial, national, and international awards for his outstanding works and achievements. Dr. Chen is also one of the key advisors and consultants to both China’s national government and Hubei provincial government.
